What we're about

Calling space enthusiasts! We meet monthly every 2nd or 3rd Saturday, usually at a restaurant, to see and discuss a "What's Happening in Space" program about what NASA and some of the private or international space exploration groups are doing. Also we may discuss recent astronomy findings, especially if a planetary rover or space telescope was involved.

These monthly Meetups are also free public meetings of the Oklahoma Space Alliance chapter ( ) of the National Space Society ( You don't have to be a member of either group to come to the Meetup.

Sometimes the OSA chapter organizes special events such as a conference, a party, a trip to a space museum, or a display at a space movie or science-fiction convention.

The National Space Society is a non-profit educational (& fun) organization with chapters and affiliates around the world. So far, Oklahoma Space Alliance NSS is the only NSS chapter in Oklahoma.
