A two and a half mile easy loop on the abandoned golf course that has become a doggie paradise :-)  Level hiking , some doggie  swimming  opportunities in the canal on the way back ..

What a great place to hike off leash with our dogs! Thank you, Martina, for sharing the special connection you have with Back Nine and for leading this hike! ...I think we were having so much fun, we forgot to take photos!

I will meet at the golf course. From where I live, it makes no sense for me to meet at Shari's, either.

Ok, to meet there? I live closer to that side of town anyway. Can someone give me exact directions or address?

Andrea, suggest you show up at the golf course at 10:15 AM. I have never been there but have driven by this place many times. There is an active 9 hole golf course on the east side of China Hat Road and the abandoned 9 hole golf course is directly across the road on the west side. Here is a Google Maps overview of the area. Hope that helps: https://www.google.com...

Looking forward to this event. I have been doing the river trail with one dog, but I will be bringing both to this one. Hope the weather cooperates!

This sounds terrific, but this is my moving to Bend week. Maybe we can do it again after I'm settled? Sure looking forward to meeting you folks.
