    Talk Abstract

You have likely heard the term APM, or Application Performance Management.  But what does that really mean?  Some of the big names in this space include AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, and dozens if not hundreds more.

If you aren't collecting any metrics from your application today, do not worry.  At this meetup Nate Good will demonstrate how easy it is to to get started by using a variety of free and open source tools to collect meaningful metrics, as well as some ways that you can visualize and gain insight from our data.

But why stop there, this same stack can be used for all of your home automation needs as well!

There will be opportunity for you to do some hands on experimentation so feel free to bring your laptop and participate!
