I had done this hike a few years ago and we used the shuttle to go up to Glacier point and hiked down to the Valley floor. There is normally shuttles schedules unless they have changed.

Are you going to take the bus up to glacier Point and hike down to the bottom for a one way trip or is this going to be a round trip hike on the four mile trail?

    June 22, 2014

    • Matthew P.

How are you getting back to the cars?

Just found out there is no shuttle service to Glacier Point. I will think of something before hike day. Here is the web site for the regular tour bus from Glacier Point.

How difficult is the hike? Is this appropriate for inexperienced and out of shape hikers? Lots of hills? I've never been and the link provided won't work for me right now.

Dear, this is not a beginners hike its fair to say it is moderate& Basically, this trail is up, up, and more up. The views of the valley are spectacular. I also am out of shape but i still want to try this hike.
