Join the Central Virginia CAD Technology Group at our Monthly Meeting
Meeting Reminder: Wednesday, May 30, 2018 CV CAD Group, Once again, we'll attempt a repeat of the topics offered at the previous meeting. We'll go over the AUGI Wish List of which referred to several that I had submitted and two of which were included in later releases. Then, we'll switch to tying in with the features of our new meeting location. Instead of an overhead projector we now have a large wall monitor. With the use of our own personal devices (laptops, tablets and smartphones) we can now give presentations and collaborate with each other over this system. Sharon will provide insight on these linkups which includes download of associated programs and setup of the aforementioned devices; so bring yours with you. Expect this to last a little longer; there's a lot to go over. We may also have a possible project for the club to discuss. ... hope you can make it. Also, CV CAD Group member, Michael Carris, has offered to provide a presentation at a future meeting on the use of Utility and Trenching Software. We'll keep you updated. Our meeting time is 5:30 pm. Be sure to spread the word! Look for the sign (below) at 6800 Staples Mill Road. Questions? - call us at[masked]. My email address is [masked] Billy (Wooten)

What we're about

RAM (Richmond AutoCad Manifest) was established in 1991 with six members. It was created for the purpose of providing a forum for Central Virginia AutoDesk Users to share their knowledge of AutoDesk products and improve the quality of CAD services within the region. From the original six founders, RAM has grown to almost 200 members from all areas of industry. Users share their knowledge of vertical products, third-party software, and management strategies as well as continue to explore the depths of AutoDesk products with each release. RAM has become an excellent source of networking for CAD users in the Central Virginia area. Come join us in our efforts to share knowledge, improve our skills, and increase our value in today’s CAD world.

Our meetings are typically the last Wednesday of every month. We do make adjustments for holidays, so check back every month. Anyone interested in learning more about or sharing their knowledge of AutoDesk products and related software is welcome to join us – membership is not required to attend meetings. For more details drop us a note or call 804-424-0185!

Update: In the process of reorganizing, our name has been changed to Central Virginia CAD Technology Group.
