Topical Tuesdays- must RSVP!

Are you an entrepreneur/business owner looking to expand your network? Looking for a friendly networking meeting minus the rules and the high fees?  We are a local group of self-starters and invite you to  come join us! You must RSVP if you plan to attend.
Please come prepared to introduce yourself in 30 seconds.

Today's topic: How do you deal with difficult people?

If you sign up to attend this event, please RSVP and treat it with the same attention as you would an individual appointment with someone. Being a "no show" is uncool.

If you decide not to join us, please correct your RSVP so that someone else can attend.

There will be a short networking exercise as well.  We plan to adjourn at about 10:30.

Bring your enthusiasm and business cards.

The "Good to see you" things that Meetup just started posting are a cute idea but quickly got out of hand and clogged everyone's in-boxes with needless stuff. We have opted not to use them.  To turn off this function, click on "Account" in the very upper right.  Then "email and notification" then email and notification settings, then uncheck last item of the the top paragraph and save settings.

How about this:  A collective " IT WAS GOOD TO SEE YOU-ALL OF YOU, EACH AND EVERY TIME NOW AND IN THE FUTURE"!

Excellent discussion! We can't control how difficult people behave, but we can control how we interact with them.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this week. Although, looks like I didn't really have an option (congrats on having a full house, Dianne!). Thank you all for the very warm welcome last week and I'm looking forward to coming again the next week! I'll be sure to get on the list early. :)
