Gangneung Biking, Beach, and Waterfalls

Let's enjoy the end of the summer by taking an overnight trip to Gangneung! We will meet at Seoul Express Bus Terminal (Don't accidentally go to Central City!) and take a bus to Gangneung. From there, we'll head to the beach and rent a bike. We'll bike along the coast on bike paths and small roads. Along the way, we can stop at a beach or two to swim, play frisbee, and relax. We'll spend the night in Gangneung, then head to Sogemgang in Odaesan National Park to take a hike along a river to see some waterfalls. It should be a great way to spend the weekend!

I sure would like to join you guys. Are you planing on biking on a regular street or strictly on the biking path only? I'm a novice biker who can't ride on streets where there are cars.

The beginning of the bike trip will be on a bike path along the coast. When the bike path ends, we will take small roads to continue our journey up the coast. I posted pictures of the path on the Gangneung trip page. If you only feel comfortable on the bike path, you can just bike on that part and the group can meet up with you again on the way back. It's up to you!^^
