Gosh- I hope not. Until I've seen every snowflake on the planet, I refuse to believe that.
I finally edited out 200,000 words from the historical "tome" I started writing in 1971 on a Smith Corona typewriter. Looks, sounds and reads much better. I wrote two NaNoWriMo novels, some short stories, a couple of memoirs and one pretty bad poem as well. I'm learning to do it ...write.
I was an art teacher for most of my life, but I always wrote. Now that I am retired, it is nice to get back to it.
Writers work in isolation- would like to compare notes and receive some critiques. Working with colleagues in the teaching profession was always so inspiring. I have a lot to learn.
Hi- I'm a retired elementary art teacher, but have written all my life. Nice to get out of writer's isolation- see you all on Monday.
Loved it. It's nice to know what to expect, see some bios of writers and interact with intelligent and passionate people.
