There isn't anything you need to add to yourself to experience your fullness. Even though we tend to have a habit of looking outward to affirm our completeness, the journey of re-claiming our wholeness is an internal one. As Thomas Merton said, "There is in all visible things - a hidden wholeness."
Breathe this in and feel the totality of yourself: body, mind and soul. This is a powerful truth that most us have forgotten about ourselves...maybe we didn't even realize in it the first place. The spiritual path shows us that everything we need is within us. Our sense of wholeness comes from a deep remembrance of our oneness with Source.
Spirit is perfectly whole and complete. Since you're made in the image and likeness of Spirit you, too, are perfectly whole and complete. It's important to know this; otherwise we run the risk of thinking there's something in us that's broken. Yet nothing could be further from the truth.
Wholeness is your natural state. And regardless of anything that may have happened in your life, the essence of you has never been damaged. Let this sink in. Nothing about you needs fixing. You are simply healing your thinking, peeling away the layers of mistaken beliefs and revealing your wholeness.
You are a living, breathing example of what it is to know your true self, to express it in the physical world and celebrate that for yourself and others. By choosing to live from your Wholeness you make a difference to the people who witness your life.
