We are on a path to the empowered heart! And we're diving into the six steps Caroline Myss offers for healing. Here are the first three steps from last week:
Step One: Commit to healing all the way to the source of the pain. This means turning inward and coming to know your wounds. You make a choice to focus your attention on your learning, your growth and your healing.
Step Two: Once 'inside' yourself, identify your wounds. As you identify them, talk to someone you can trust who can be a witness for you. Share the influence they've had on your development. Take a look at why you might feel afraid of healing them.
Step Three: Observe how you use your wounds to influence or even control people in your life, including yourself. Here are a few of the questions she offers for exploration. Not all questions may apply to you but the ones that do can really help in the process.
Do you ever say you aren't feeling well because of them to cancel an appointment/plans when you actually feel fine? Do you every control another person by saying their actions remind you of your parents? Are you afraid that in healing yourself you'll lose your connection to certain people or that you'll have to leave behind some or a lot of you familiar life?
This is a deep and powerful process that can transform your life. And this week we are carrying on to the next steps. I wonder what we'll discover!
