Tired of the traditional Thanksgiving dishes? We will put a new twist on old favorites.
We'll start the evening with a green bean appetizer. Our main will be a sage stuffed turkey roulade with mesclun salad with goat cheese, walnuts and a fresh cranberry vinaigrette dressing and chipolte sweet potatoes. Our dessert will be pumpkin pie ice cream.
The cost is $25 per person and needs to be paid when you RSVP.
This group will focus on learning how to cook in a fun and casual environment. No cooking experience is necessary, however, you are encouraged to help in the preparation of the meal. Lots of techniques, tips and secrets will be shared throughout each meetup. I will hold cooking classes once a month on Saturday (late afternoon/early evening) to give us plenty of time to cook and eat. Classes will be limited to 6 people and the fee will be based on the theme of the evening, payable in advance. You are more than welcome to bring a beverage of choice to enjoy with the meal and during the cooking process. I will do all the shopping for the meal, so you just need to show up, cook and enjoy the meal. I welcome any ideas for dinner themes: nationality, regional fare, guest chefs, cooking style, etc
