From time to time in our lives, all of us struggle with physical or mental pain, or we watch a loved one experiencing problems. Often times, we feel as if we cannot help ourselves or others in their struggles. In Buddhist teachings, the profound, ancient meditation known as “taking and giving” provides us with a way of healing ourselves and gaining the power to heal others.
During this class series, Frances McLeod will explain how to begin and make progress with the taking and giving meditations. Not only will students learn how to engage in the formal meditation of taking and giving, they will also learn how to apply taking and giving in the midst of busy daily life. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Drop in for any class.
Where to Find Us at the Circular Church

Parking is free, even though there’s a sign saying you need to pay; Circular has reserved parking spaces at the end of the lot.
