We will meet at the big beautiful fountain at the end of Vendue Range (pictured below), Charleston, SC
At a reduced price of only $8 to our members (usually $23-cash please). City code limits the tour to 20 people. Charleston is beautiful with all the Christmas trimmings.
The tour will end around noon & we'll make the short walk to popular Minero for brunch (address 153B East Bay St). Minero is the only casual restaurant owned by the restaurant group fronted by James Beard award winning chef Sean Brock (others are renowned McCrady's & HUSK). Link to Minero is below.
Those not making the tour are welcome to join the group for brunch at Minero around noon, where Jeff can answer questions about Charleston's history.
Charleston Mingles member Jeff Zimmerman is an eight generation Carolinian and his company is called "CHARLESTON IN A NUTSHELL Walking Tours" based at 375 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401; Tel:[masked]
• Jeff's request for those on this specially priced tour is that you honestly review your experiences online on "tripadvisor" at the link I provide below. Tour companies depend on reviews to stay in existence. Jeff is an excellent tour guide and when the owner himself leads it, you will enjoy this tour like no other.

TOUR DESCRIPTION by tour company owner Jeff:
"Hello Minglers. This walk provides a touring experience that captures the essentials of historic Charleston. Amid the ambience of stately mansions and scenic gardens, we will visit our most beloved landmarks and visit less touristy nooks that are off limits to carriage and bus tours. From history to architecture, from culture to the natural world, this stroll has a little of everything. Join us and discover Charleston's Greatest Treasures - in a nutshell! "
(1) Because there will be an ample "waitlist" to attend this tour, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THIS TOUR IF YOU RSVP "YES". If your situation changes to a "NOT ATTENDING", please be considerate and change your RSVP to "NO" as soon as possible...hopefully more than a day before. Otherwise you will be preventing a fellow member from being notified early enough that they have made the RSVP list.
(2) The City of Charleston will fine the tour operator for exceeding the 20 limit. I'm not sure what Jeff's liability is if someone is tagging along without a ticket, although I prefer not to get into an open discussion about something that is against city code. Ask Jeff by private email.
(3) If you are late for this tour, the tour will move on without you.
