ICEBERG SLIM: PORTRAIT OF A PIMP, documents the storied and tumultuous life of Chicago pimp Robert Beck, a.k.a. "Iceberg Slim", who reinvented himself from hustler to author of 7 groundbreaking books, selling over six million copies. These books were the birth of "street literature", exploring the world of the ghetto in gritty and poetic detail and made him a cultural icon.

The film, produced by rap legend Ice-T and directed by Jorge Hinojosa, premiered in late 2012 at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival, and features interviews with Iceberg Slim, Chris Rock, Henry Rollins, Ice-T, Katt Williams, Bill Duke, Snoop Dogg, and Quincy Jones.
