What we're about
We are a group of men of very diverse and wide ranging backgrounds, who gather on a regular basis to create an intentional space for personal growth and connection.
The Greater Charlotte area of Mankind Project (or simply, MKP) is part of an international group that teaches men about healthy masculinity to foster a new way of being in the world. As a result of work done in our circle, men grow by:
- Moving from head to heart in order to become emotionally authentic
- Stepping into leadership to achieve a personal vision, or life mission
- Living a life of integrity by taking full ownership of words spoken, actions taken, and their consequences
- Clearly communicating needs and wants that enable the realization of personal truths
Our Charlotte Area Group, and the ManKind Project, empowers men to missions of service, supporting men to make a difference in the lives of other men, women, and children around the world. We help men through any transition, men at all levels of success, men facing almost any challenge. The ManKind Project (MKP) is not affiliated with any religious practice or political party. We strive to be increasingly inclusive and affirming of cultural differences, especially with respect to color, class, sexual orientation, faith, age, ability, ethnicity, and nationality.
The ManKind Project has a presence in more than 21 nations. MKP is a global brotherhood of nonprofit charitable organizations [501 (c)(3) in the USA] that conducts challenging and highly rewarding programs for men at every stage of life.
Please join us, (free of charge) at any of our regular weekly meetings for a discussion of vital topics to empower men to be leaders in their community. Topics include: Intention and Commitment; Emotional Authenticity; Personal Responsibility; Leadership Mastery; Empowered Mission; Supportive Community...and more.
