Sunday Golf at Monroe Country Club

Location visible to members

The CSGA is playing the Monroe Country Club on Sunday, April 27, beginning at 12:00 PM. We have scheduled room for 24 players at the CSGA rate of $35. There is a clickitgolf voucher for a foursome for $120 for the truly thrifty. The clickitgolf rate for a weekend single is $38 with a rack rate of $43.

The Monroe Country Club first opened in 1936 with 9 holes designed by famed Scottish architect Donald Ross. It is a good mix of holes with rolling terrain and reachable par 5's with the famous devilish Ross greens. In 1970 local architect Tom Jackson designed the finishing 9 with a more typical Carolina experience through towering pines. The course recently resurfaced their greens with the new Champion Bermuda grass which is all the rage. So come on out for some Sunday golf and don't forget the brownies at the snack bar. Your friends are always welcome at all CSGA events. As always RSVP's will close 2 days before the event to allow the course to plan for us. Hope to see you there.
