From: Bermon P.

Hi everybody,

Thanks to all of those that came out on Monday. The weather was getting a bit dicey but we had a pretty fantastic meetup with Tiffany and her fellow fellows from Code for America. Charlotte has been chosen as a 2014 fellowship and Tiffany and 2 other fellows have been assigned to our city for the year.

Jim Van Fleet, one of Charlotte's core community organizers, is heading up the our local brigade. The launch event will be Thursday, February 20 @6.30pm at Skookum Digital Works (201 S. Tryon, Charlotte). You can also follow progress throughout the year over at If you're interested in helping out on some civic minded UX I encourage you to join our local brigade.

From the meetup there are a few resources that I think you'll find handy:

Our Sponsors

  • Ettain Group

IT/UX/Tech Staffing. They Provide tasty food and occasional giveaways.

  • Myjive

Myjive provides the group with a great meetup space @ NC Music Factory

  • Cardinal Solutions

Product design and development in uptown Charlotte.
