Has anybody read Zen in the Art of Archery, by Eugen Herrigel? It is a delightful book, very short. It was required reading in my Buddhism course at the U. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In it, a man (an American?) learns how, from a Zen master, to hit bulls-eyes everytime, but he is missing the point - he must become "one" with the arrow. smile
