Reminiscent of many Rock, Blues, Jazz and Funk groups of the past, they like to call this new and diverse sound "Junque Music". Listeners have overwhelmingly had a positive response to the seductive grooves and cool melodies they have concocted. Junque Gallery continues to catch the ears of the most discriminating listeners. They have released their latest CD, entitled "Pronounced JUNK!", produced by Grammy-nominated and award-winning producer/engineer Mark Williams (Hootie and the Blowfish, Joe Cocker, Kirk Franklin, and Steady Rollin' Bob Margolin). This CD is filled with the coolest grooves, the catchiest hooks, and the best down-and-dirty "junque" music we know how to play. Hope you enjoy!

Pam Taylor- Singer /Songwriter/Guitar player from a small town in South Carolina, is a 3rd generation musician. Her grandfather is a singer/guitar player and her father also plays the saxophone. She grew up singing, playing piano, writing and often performed in plays and with choral groups. At age 18, her father gave her her first guitar, a Washburn acoustic, in which she taught herself how to play. After discovering she had a knack for songwriting as well, she hasn't looked back. Both heavily influenced by the blues, currently she and her father share their love of music and are taking the local music scene by storm. They have teamed up with some of the most dedicated and talented musicians in the South East to form the Pam Taylor Band. This has been a life-long dream of Taylor who has shared the stage with such artists as Los Lobos, Jeff Jensen, Eric Scott, JP Soars, Vasti Jackson, Lionel Young, Brandon Santini, Tommy Castro, Nick Moss, Jason Ricci, Deanna Bogart, Jimmy Carpenter, Elvin Bishop and Deborah Coleman.

Mike Taylor - Saxophone
Mike started playing the sax in the school band at age 13, by the age of 14 he was playing professionally in the top 40 R&B band, The Ardells. He is influenced by Jr. Walker, King Curtis, and Boots Randolph among many others. After about 10 years of touring he called it quits to focus on family and over the last five he has gotten back to his roots, the blues, and is tearing up the stage alongside his daughter.

Kyle Phillips - Lead Guitar
Kyle Phillips is a locally known musician who began playing guitar at the age of 8 years old. His major influences have been Joe Bonamasa, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jack White, Eric Clapton,Tommy Castro and Craig Landau, just to name a few. He has been very active in the music scene around the Concord and Charlotte, NC. area as well as Lancaster, SC. His preferred instrument is the electric guitar but he also enjoys playing the bass and harmonica. He is lead guitarist for The Pam Taylor Band

Rusty Gilreath - Bass
Rusty Gilreath started playing bass at age 14, in jazz band at school. Playing in various groups around Gastonia earned him a spot playing his summers at Carowinds in live shows. He played in various R and B and Jazz bands in College, and has jammed or played with acts as diverse as Harry Chapin, Merle Haggard, Chuck Mangione, and the Marshall Tucker Band. His main influences are Carl Radle, Stanley Clarke, Rick Danko and Ron Carter. No matter what style of music he played at the time, his love of the blues has always been the driving force and is loving holding down the groove for PTB.

L.A. Freeman - Drummer
From his first moment on stage at age 3, L.A. Freeman has had the rhythm in him. Raised around the world of dance and theater, the entertainment industry has been the directive from day one. After stints as an broadcaster, actor and dancer he started to focus on his first love....music. From local and regional bands to recording and touring with some of the best national acts....Bill Pinkney's Original Drifters, The Truly Dangerous Swamp Band, Mel Melton and the Wicked Mojos, Armand Lenchek, Chicago Bob Nelson, Robin Rogers, Eden Brent and now The Pam Taylor Band...L.A. has distinguished himself as master of a solid groove and swings with the best of them. In addition, L.A. can be seen in Alan Alda's film "Betsy's Wedding", as the drummer in the reception scenes and the new Helene Cordona (Chocolat) film "Bedtime Story" as, surprise...the drummer in the cocktail party scene!
