The Sunday **Long Run**
THE MEETUP TIME has been changed back to 7:30AM. Please note that we leave promptly, on time, to take advantage of an early start. Attendance is always much higher than indicated as regulars most times forget to sign up. Don't let the Title make you hesitant about joining us, this is a very friendly & diversified group of all training levels. :-) We'll be meeting up at the Greenway entrance right across from Starbucks on Rea Road and usually all gather at Starbucks after the run. This is a beautiful course that's pretty much flat and great for a relaxing LR. The scheduled out & back is about 12 miles but if you're looking to go longer OR shorter you have plenty of options. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Optional Loops: Ballantyne 3.2 Loop: http://www.mapmyrun.c... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We usually meet at a nearby place for eats and drinks (or for coffee and breakfast on Saturdays) after each run! We also have lots of varied social outings and crazy theme runs just for the fun of it! Check out our schedule for locations and RSVP for a run or social gathering...we look forward to meeting you!

Be sure to RSVP so we know you are attending!

Note to beginners: While we do not have a specific "beginners" group, we were all beginners at one time or another! So this is why it's important to get started, whether you are 22 or 62. All paces are welcomed and we encouraged you to come run with us! The organizers of the runs have maps available so you will not get lost, and we wait for everyone at the end so nobody gets left behind. So come on out to a run, meet your fellow runners, run your pace that you are the most comfortable with, and then join us for an after-run social activity (you will notice most of our runs include this). : )
