We hold weekly meetings at 7:30pm on Mondays and have about 7 to 12 people per week. It is not necessary to join on meetup.com, simply show up to the meeting.
The foundation of recovery from alcoholism in Alcoholics Anonymous is mutual support, shared experience, encouragement, guidance, and accountability with other sober members. This meetup is for atheists and agnostics who may sometimes feel alienated and unsupported by AA groups promoting devotion to God and Christian prayer. If you have a desire to stop drinking and no interest in converting to Judeo-Christian beliefs, join us for mutual support and fellowship.
We hold prayer-free, non-religious AA "We Agnostic" meetings, support each other in staying sober and turning our lives around for the better, and help each other navigate AA membership as non-Christians. To your own self be true. Our only wish is to ensure suffering alcoholics that they can find sobriety in AA without having to accept anyone else's beliefs, or having to deny their own.
