December WordPress Social Meetup at Kardinal Hall
The December WordPress Meetup will be a social outing again this year. Guests are welcome to attend, and we promise that the only plugins we'll discuss involve Christmas lights. Location We'll meet at Kardinal Hall (http://kardinalhall.com/), located at 722 Preston Ave, Charlottesville, VA. We don't have a reservation, so we'll try to grab a couple tables in the back. Kardinal Hall has outdoor bocce, sports on TV and board games galore. It's a great place for kids and adults. Happy hour is 3-6 pm, so arrive early if you want to get a cheap drink! Food and Drinks Both food and drinks will be available. Whispering Woods Web Design will pitch in for some finger foods, and you will be able to purchase your own food and beverages as well. Cost It's free to attend the Charlottesville WordPress Meetup, but please consider helping to offset the cost of hosting the meeting. Your contributions will go straight to the Charlottesville WordPress Meetup to help offset the semi-annual Meetup registration fees and pay for food. You can contribute online by navigating to the Charlottesville WordPress Meetup site and then clicking on the "Chip In (https://secure.meetup.com/Charlottesville-WordPress-Meetup/contribute/)" button in the left sidebar. Thank you for contributing! Joe Nasevich

    What we're about

The Charlottesville WordPress Meetup is for anyone using, or interested in learning how to use WordPress to create a website or blog. We meet once a month (typically on the first Monday of each month) to discuss a specific topic related to website design, especially how it relates to a WordPress website. Past topics have included Search Engine Optimization (SEO), website security, child themes, WordPress hooks, and specific plugins. Our membership is (almost) as varied as the types of WordPress sites, ranging from novices to designers and programmers with years of experience. Please join us to share and expand your knowledge of WordPress!
