Let's do a day hike into the beautiful Laurel-Snow pocket wilderness near Dayton, TN. The total mileage of the hike is around 10 miles and it is rated as moderately strenuous. This hike has two creek crossings which according to rainfall can be anywhere from ankle-deep to knee-deep. Dress in layers, bring water, snacks and lunch. Trailside attractions include Buzzard's point (one of the best overlooks in Tennessee), Snow falls (35-ft), Dunn's overlook, Bryson's overlook and Laurel Falls (an impressive 110-ft).
We will start from the trailhead at 8.30 am Central time or 9.30 am Eastern time.
