What if I haven’t exercised in a while ?

This is the great thing about Zumba, people of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy a Zumba class at any time. Don’t worry if you haven’t been doing a lot of exercise, we just want to get you moving! Over time, as with any exercise, you will feel fitter and know you can do more!
Naturally, the more you put in the more you get out of it in terms of your workout, calories burned and the fun experience!

What to bring with you to a Zumba Class?

Well, naturally we want you to bring a smile with you, while you will be working out, we want these classes to be fun for you .. it’s really the only way you will forget you are exercising and just enjoy yourself while you burn some calories! Along with that, it is advisable to bring water with you … and some people like to bring a towel!

Wondering what to wear to your Zumba class?

Remember this is a fitness class, so wear comfortable clothing, and footwear. I have to tell you, it is very likely you will SWEAT !!!  So, workout gear is the best.

Do I have to have ‘dance’ experience, or can anyone do this?

You do NOT have to be a dancer, while it is exercise to music, and we will be ‘dancing’, you just 

simply follow along with your Instructor. Some people expect to ‘get it’ on the first night .. but as I say to them, you don’t have to ‘get it’ you just follow along the best way you can and keep moving! You will see us giving you visual clues as to what direction you need to move in before it happens .. but… again don’t worry about it, coordination isn’t a requirement.. 

 the most important thing is you keep moving, keep burning lots of calories, keep smiling and keep coming back!
