This hike will go along the Jacks River via the Beech Bottoms Trail, ending at the Jacks River Falls. It will be an easy to moderate 8 mile hike to a lovely double-layer waterfall on the Jacks River. (That's 4 miles in and 4 miles back out.) There are a couple of small creek crossings, but unless it has really rained a lot just before the hike they should not be anything at all. Since this is a relatively short hike James Anderson, hike leader, won't be starting really early. He is thinking we will probably leave Cleveland around 9:00 a.m.
If you are interested call James Anderson at[masked] or contact him on this CHC Meetup page before 7:00 p.m. on Friday the 1st of Nov. Be sure and bring lunch as he intends for us to have our lunch with a water view!
Don't just show up. Contact James to sign up either through Meetup or by phone so he can know to expect you and to give you the meeting time and location.
