Chester County Arts & Culture

Hi! I promise I will not send emails often but I did want to reach you all directly.  We have over 160 members in just a couple weeks so I just wanted to express my two intentions for this group and ask for your participation:

1) For people to come together in friendship and community to enjoy the Arts and Culture in Chester County and the Brandywine Valley.

2) To support our local Arts and Culture to keep it strong and thriving.

Three Ways to Get Involved:

1)  Become an Event Organizer:

Just ask and I can add you as a host for activities based on your own interests. Beyond the very popular events (like Longwood and the West Chester Christmas parade), I encourage members to acknowledge artists, venues, art galleries, etc. that will benefit from our support. (For example, there should never be empty seats at the Kennett Flash or a lack of guests for local authors when they do book signings at local wineries).  Pay attention to the places and people you love and think of how we can best direct energy toward them when they need it.

2) Use our Discussion Section:

Please use our Discussion Section often to even note new places, interesting events, good ticket sales, etc.  Just make random comments to share with the other members casually even without having to commit to hosting.

3) Sign up and Show Up!  That's what Meetup is for! Thanks for joining and I hope to meet each of your over time.
