Some people travel to Munich for Oktoberfest, but why do that when we can celebrate in our own backyard?! This month, we're heading to Prost! for their Oktoberfest dinner series! $40 includes chef Ian Flowers pairings of dishes like pork rouladen with hard-to-find German ales like the Valckenberg Dornfelder 2010.
At the meetup we can catch up on people's summer travels and talk about fall plans as well. Also, our group has several trips coming up (Nepal, Egypt, Costa Rica, ect.) that we can chat about.
As always, this meetup is for adventurous travelers past, present or future. Even if the closest you've ever been to traveling the world is watching the Travel Channel, you're sure to find something in common with our friendly, out-going members from all over the Chicagoland area. There will be no pressure to join the upcoming trips - it's simply a great way to meet local, like-minded people with great stories, life experiences and ambitions of seeing far off places. It's also a great way for people who are new to Chicago to make friends and learn about our beautiful city!!
Thanks, all, and I hope to see you all on the 2nd!!
(Follow the signs when you get to the restaurant to find us or ask the hostess - we will be hard to miss, I promise!)
When: Tuesday, October 2nd 7:00pm
