Additional Information
What is your process for requirements gathering? This question gets one of three responses.

  • Ugh, I wish I was better at that.
  • It's nasty work. Someone else does that.
  • I took the Agile Product Design Workshop & I've learned the Agile Product Design process and it has revolutionized my team's ability to deliver the right product with the right features to the right user consistently time and time again

If you've given answer 1 or 2 I invite you to join us for a two day workshop on Agile Product Design!

Driving a product is challenging. There are natural time and budget constraints and questions on the direction of the product. Couple this with we only really start learning once the produce is in customers hands and this can quickly be overwhelming. How can we effectively build and learn together? Scale this out across teams and this is even more challenging.

This two-day course is designed to help your team manage the challenge of product design more effectively through content, discussion, and real world exercises. Your team will start off choosing a product to explore. You are then guided, from start to finish, through product design best practices. The course is predominantly hands-on; having groups start with a product to explore and taking them through agile, lean ux, and design thinking.

If you are challenged with communicating product needs or direction, uncovering unknowns, ore simply communicating stories more effectively, this course is for you.

First Day - February 25th, 9am to 4pm:

  • Exploring ideas: What is an idea? What is a pitch?
  • Chartering success through collaborative chartering
  • Using personas the right way
  • Impact Mapping approaches

Second Day - February 26th, 9am to 4pm:

  • Introduction into StoryMapping
  • StoryMapping: exploring your product through the eyes of your persona
  • Slicing and Journeys: looking at ways to solve persona needs & learning through whole experiences
  • Testing and pivoting: validating needs and questions
