Brain-computer interaction enthusiasts - Let's get together to learn things, make things and break things. This meetup is open to anybody who wants to explore BCI technology! I hope together we can share, discuss, teach, create, and pioneer this budding industry. This group will meet once monthly. Bring your projects, questions, laptops, and imaginations and let's have some fun!
CODE OF CONDUCT
Chicago BCI events and online spaces are meant to be a welcoming and including environment for everyone, and therefore we kindly ask you to read through and embrace our code of conduct. All authors, readers, attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers are required to uphold these policies, and Chicago BCI will enforce the code throughout all our events and online activities.
Be respectful of all participants, regardless of whether we’re hosting a real life event or conducting online activities. We will not allow any kind of discriminatory behavior, harassment or victimization. Chicago BCI is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone; regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or beliefs, or technology choices.
Chicago BCI does not tolerate any form of harassment. During events we expect all attendees to be respectful to each other and the speakers; e.g. do not interrupt or in any way disturb a speaker on stage – if you have questions you’ll have to wait until the end of the session unless noted by the speaker.
If these rules are violated you may be banned from future events at the discretion of the group organizers. If you notice that these policies are not followed, please contact a member of the group immediately.
