Ever wanted to eat something other than boil-water-add-to-bag-wait-7-minutes food while out on the trail? More than just a little tired of energy bars for breakfast?
We'll be discussing how to plan, package, prepare and enjoy a wide range of healthy and delicious meals that are backpacking appropriate. We will also cover some areas of nutrition and gear selection. There may be games (maybe even prizes) but I'm not gonna say for sure. You'll have to show up to find out :).
Note that space in the meeting room is somewhat limited. It's pretty unlikely that we will have to turn anyone away, but please be aware that late arrival may not get a seat.
This is a subject I really enjoy sharing, hope to see lots of food-curious folk there!
