(SKETCHFEST 2019) This one woman comedic/horror story show, House Lafayette, reveals the secrets of its past, present and possibly future residents of the Lafayette's family infamous house. With the intent to help the audience feel better about their life's obstacles Madame Lafayette introduces them to characters who have lessons to share such as learning to love yourself and facing your fears. FUN IN THE SNOW! A DAY ON THE SLOPES IN WISCONSIN- Learn to ski downhill, or snowboard. The choice is yours! This trip includes roundtrip bus transportation (trip takes about an hour from Chicago) lift ticket and equipment rental. $10 Beginner lesson optional, pay on arrival. You’d love to learn to Downhill Ski or Snowboard, but getting to the slopes is too much of a hassle? Wrong! Discovery Center has arranged & organized everything for you with this one day ski holiday amid beautiful surroundings(the owner Bob set up our super fun camping & rafting Meetup trips the past 3 years, so you know it will be a great time!) If you’ve never been on skis before, or have limited experience, or already know how to ski, this trip is for you. The club has a variety of runs from beginner to advanced. The certified instructors teach with an emphasis on safety, skill and, most important, FUN. Whether relaxing in front of a blazing fire, skiing the slopes or meeting new friends, this trip will definitely keep you warm. Snowboarding is becoming more and more popular each year. It is an exhilarating way to get a great workout in beautiful surroundings. If you have already mastered skateboarding (or surfing), you will find snowboarding relatively easy. Even if you have had no prior experience, the expert instruction provided in this class will help get you started. Be prepared to give your height, weight, boot size, and whether you are right, or left “foot forward” when you register. This gentle flow is focused on the ignition of your soul and your personal vibrancy. This class is supported with soul music and is meant to inspire a passionate conversation with your mind and body and leave you feeling renewed and elevated. Ada Kelley, a certified yoga instructor and wellness coach (pictured in green top), will be guiding you through this flow. There's a different playlist for each class and music requests are encouraged. The group class rate is $15/student. Mats are available for rent. All students must call (312)[masked] to register.
