Cryptography is one of the core building blocks of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and all other blockchain technology. In this meeting Conrad Barski will walk through the theory and algorithms behind hashing, public key cryptography, Merkle trees, and also briefly touch on zero knowledge proofs.
The goal will be to make these subjects accessible to beginners, and to also discuss some advanced techniques.
We will do our best to have this talk recorded and posted online afterwards.
Afterwards, we'll get some food/drink at Henry's at (18 W Hubbard St) to talk blockchain/crypto and discuss the latest happenings in this exciting field!
