Hello Film Lovers!
Do you have a thirst? A thirst to discuss the films we love? Of course you do, that's why you're are apart of Chicago Film Lover Exchange. November 2011 I started this group with our first meetup "Eat Chinese, talk Chinatown".
Does history repeat it's self? Maybe, we'll see :). I'm organizing this meetup almost identical to the very first CFLX meetup in hopes to reignite our sit down discussions (see more details below).
This was such an amazing meetup and I'd love to have you come relive the experience with me and discuss Roman Polanski's "Chinatown" (1974) while we eat Thai food at Joy's Noodles. The place is usually empty on week nights, so I'm not going to make a rez. I'll leave this meetup open. Watch the film ahead of time and then we'll discuss.
Your proud to be organizer,
*I've been on hiatus as organizer and I'm now coming back part-time organizing a meetup every month or every other month with our sit down discussions. What are sit down discussions? This is where you watch a film on your own prior to the meetup and we meet somewhere conducive to discussing and discuss the film for no more then an hour 1/2. It's a magical experience for movie lovers :)
Looking to meet people interested in film. This sounds like a fun group.
