The leadership of CPMG works diligently to promote community safety
and reflects often on how leaders should be held accountable for that
safety. This duty of the leadership to protect members of CPMG
sometimes means that formal ties are kept with other polyamory groups
of Chicago only when those groups hold the same safety standards.
CPMG does not discourage nor promote cross-membership with
other groups, but recommends common sense precautions and making
informed decisions. CPMG is committed to a safe community with
accountable leadership and looks forward to working formally with
other Chicago polyamory groups when their ethics align with ours.
