Join us 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, April 19 for a Chicago Self-Publishing Group Mixer!
Our mixer last spring was a hit, so I’m bringing it back. There's no program or speaker—this is a purely social event at Bar Toma (http://www.bartomachicago.com), 110 E Pearson Street in the heart of the Gold Coast.
It’s an opportunity to relax, get to know other group members, and perhaps trade self-publishing stories, while enjoying the ambiance of a great Italian restaurant. I’ll be available to answer any self-publishing questions you might have while you're there.
Having it on a weekend should make attending easier for those of you who have a hard time getting downtown on weeknights.
We'll be there from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, and you’re welcome to stay longer, if you’d like.
Bar Toma is not charging us a fee to use the space—please show your support by purchasing food (http://bartomachicago.com/docs/default-document-library/barto-menu-3_31.pdf?sfvrsn=2) and/or drinks (http://bartomachicago.com/docs/default-document-library/menu-back-2015.pdf?sfvrsn=2) while you're there.
Valet parking is available, and there are garages and metered street parking in the area. The restaurant is a short walk from the Chicago Red Line Station and several bus lines.
As always, feel free to bring guests. If you plan to join us, please take a moment to RSVP so I can give Bar Toma a headcount.
Hope to see you there!
