You've got the hard part done: the words and pictures that make your book. Now, how do you turn that into an ebook and sell it? Join Anne-Marie Concepción, owner of Chicago-based Seneca Design & Training, as she discusses:
• The different ebook formats—MOBI ebooks (used on Amazon Kindle), reflowable EPUBs (the most ubiquitous format), fixed-layout EPUBs (often used for children's books), PDFs as ebooks (easiest to produce), and Apple's proprietary iBook format (the format with the most interactivity and design control)
• The pros/cons of each format
• How to make and sell ebooks

Anne-Marie will share her hard-won ebook knowledge in this lively session, answer any and all questions, and provide a PDF handout with a list of her favorite resources for making ebooks.

Please RSVP here on meetup.com AND register at www.nextdoorchicago.com.
