Join us at Chicago Women in Publishing's Self-Publishing and Publicity program on Wednesday

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that three of our group members will be joining me this Wednesday, April 17 for a self-publishing panel discussion at Chicago Women in Publishing's monthly program. Linda Wolf, Florence Osmund, Paula Krapf, and I will discuss topics such as how to publish and distribute your book, how to find good service providers, how to avoid common mistakes in promoting a book through social media, and more.

Chicago Women in Publishing (CWIP) welcomes both women and men, as well as anyone with an interest in publishing -- and you don't have to be a CWIP member to attend our events. Wednesday's program, Self-Publishing and Publicity, will be held 6pm-8:30pm in the 40th floor conference room at 190 S LaSalle, which is easily accessible by CTA trains and buses.

Today is the last day to sign up for the event and get a registration discount, but you can get tickets at the door for a slightly higher fee. Click here for more info on the program, the panelists, and registration:

After the event, we invite you to continue the conversation at AraOn restaurant (located on the first floor of 190 S. LaSalle), where you can share your self-publishing experiences, ask questions, or simply relax and enjoy the company of your colleagues. If you’re a self-published author, bring your book and share it with the rest of us. There’s no extra charge—just pay for your own food and drink.

Please email me at if you have any questions or would like to learn more about CWIP.

Hope to see you there.
