What was your path to skepticism?

Raised Catholic! :-)

What is the best day and time for you to meet?

Evenings and weekends.

Are you alarmed by the state of scientific knowledge among the general population in America?

Yes. I'm especially alarmed by the endorsed ignorance of the Tea Party and religious right.

Are there issues or topics you'd especially like to discuss?

I'm always looking for tactful ways to deflect irrational ideas being discussed in social situations. For example, I'm an art consultant, and feng shui comes up from time to time. I'd enjoy some conversations on those situations.

I've had an interest in the skeptic movement for years. The Great Debunkers, like The Amazing Randi, have my special esteem for exposing charlatans and enlightening so many people.
