What was your path to skepticism?

Questioning what I and many others are taught. I don't have a good memory to really explain when I went through stages of mental evolution.

What is the best day and time for you to meet?

Hard to say due to variations in schedule.

Are you alarmed by the state of scientific knowledge among the general population in America?

Yes, such as the resistance about accepting global warming as a problem, the popular belief in astrology, though an interesting Nobel prize winning scientist Kary Mullis said in his autobiography that there might be something to it since it has been believed in as long as it has.

Are there issues or topics you'd especially like to discuss?

Mental health care issues have been important to me. It is hard to relate to people but for decades I have enjoyed going to lectures and fantasizing giving them. I don't study the hard sciences or economics.

I am skeptical but appreciative of religion. I don't believe in astrology. I believe global warming is a problem. I am politically independent with liberal leanings.
