What was your path to skepticism?

Have always been so. Having grown up in a secular community and having parents who believed in reason over faith, it was always natural for me.

What is the best day and time for you to meet?

Meeting is a challenge as I have two kids in school and a full daytime career and a full volunteer schedule as well. But I hope to make occasional events. Weekend afternoons are best for me.

Are you alarmed by the state of scientific knowledge among the general population in America?

Are there issues or topics you'd especially like to discuss?

I was born to parents of Eastern European Jewish heritage. My father was a Holocaust survivor and my mother from an orthodox family, both sides originally from Poland. My parents found a community at the Ethical Cuture Society in New York in 1955.
