- SLIMEY CRUD RIDE PINE BLUFF WISCONSIN
This used to be a migration of motorcyclist from all over the mid-west. Now with technology it has a web page. http://www.slimeycrudrun.com/ which means the ride is advertised. Such an eclectic grouping of motorcycles, majority of which are Harleys but, we all share the road. Like to encourage as many of you that like to ride & like to see thousands of motorcycles in one area, this is for you. You can ask riders/owners all about what they have or how it rides? There is food offered at the Red Mouse . This is a VERY small town & the first Sunday of May every year & first Sunday in October. There are hundreds of bikes if it is snowing & thousands if it is nice out. If able to go i will post a time/location to MeetUp(duh) otherwise have FUN. Bikes ridden there that are from the 20's(Indians), crotch rockets, $90,000 BMWs, ratrods, E-bikes are starting to be more prevalent &&&&&. If you make the time to complete the ride to Leland then the main Bar is AMAZING ! Have you ever been in an establishment that serves Alcohol, Tobacco products, FIREARMS & Food ? WOW! ATFF Hope it is still going strong since the owner passed. This town is about 20 miles west of Madison. RAIN, SHINE OR SNOW this happens. - Let's ride the Bitter End Dual Sport Ride
This years edition will be held November 3rd. Your bike must be enduro legal as a majority of the 45 mile loop will be off road. You must have a headlight mounted, no exceptions. Ride rules will be handed out upon entrance to property in lieu of a rider's meeting. You will receive your rider sticker at sign up. No sticker, no riding. The start will be north of Morrison again this year. The start address is 18138 Covell Road Morrison IL. Follow the signs from 1 mile east of Morrison on Route 30 to Lyndon Road then north 9 miles to a right on Covell Road. Sign up starts at 7:00 am the morning of the event, and last bikes out at noon. Make as many loops as you wish within the noon cut off for the same price. Entry fee is a flat $40 this year. The course is not big bike friendly, more of an untimed enduro so if you care about the looks of your 800 GS then leave it home. Navigation will be by arrows and ribbon, no GPS or route sheet needed. Lunch stand on site and primitive camping allowed.
