Here are some notes from last nights meetup:

Jason Siffring gave a presentation on setting up a base EE install. Topics included configuration options, local infrastructure, basic version control and deployments, and default channels, member groups, and templates.

Samuel Allen showed us some unique ways to use SafeCraker to build client-friendly front-end forms, and also spoke about pre-processing CSS styles using native EE CSS templates. More links from his demonstration can be found here.

Lastly, we spoke about possible future topics: EE site performance, how to use Stash, building navigations, and why to use EE vs other platforms.

All-in-all it was another great meetup! Remember next time to bring more friends and community members and let us know if anyone is interested in presenting, or what topics you are interested in hearing.

See you next time!
