The celebrated Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz (http://explorechicago.org/city/en/things_see_do/event_landing/special_events/dca_tourism/Made_in_Chicago.html) concert series returns to Millennium Park (http://explorechicago.org/city/en/millennium.html) Pritzker Pavilion.
Drummer Frank Rosaly’s ensemble explores Puerto Rico’s bomba, plena and seis music through the lens of creative improvised music. By combining traditional Puerto Rican folk instruments with electronics, ¡Todos de Pie! honors a rich musical heritage by moving beyond its traditions. With vocalist Jaap Blonk, bassist Nathan McBride, guitarist/cuatro player Alex Farha, trombonists Jeb Bishop and Nick Broste and others.
