Technology Decisions for Startups

  • Jul 14, 2016 · 5:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Every startup needs to decide how to handle their technology needs – whether your startup just needs a website or you’re building a SaaS application. Listen to our panel discussion to learn:

-- The pros and cons of having in-house developers vs. using consultants
-- Which business models are the best fit for in-house vs. outside consultants
-- What you, as a founder, need to have in-hand before you talk to a developer
-- What you should have in your contracts with either in-house developers or consultants to protect your intellectual property.

Our panel consists of
-- Zack Wilson from 20Spokes, a development consulting firm
-- Matt Mitchell, CTO and co-founder of Synap, a firm doing all their development in-house
-- Yasemin Gokcen, CTO of Brideside, a firm outsourcing most development

Is anyone talking on MarTech for this event?

An email was just sent which stated the following: "Join us on Thursday June 14th at VentureShot for a vital discussion on startup technology. Only $10 for the event, including food and drink!" - Should we understand this date to be an error? June 14 is actually a Tuesday, and the description here indicates July 14.
