Create.Innovate.Repeat (CIR 2.0)

Hosted by the Institute For Arts Entrepreneurship.

Co-Sponsored by Identity Engineers.

Connect yourself with other local artists and entrepreneurs who might be of service in helping you realize your next big idea.

Throughout the night, a small group of local artists and business owners will get up and share their current projects and ways you can get involved. Our format is inspired by the popular PechaKucha networking nights. We are not your traditional networking event!

Would you like to speak? You'll have ten slides and five minutes (there IS a gong, so be warned) to share your art, your business, or just a cool idea for the community that you think is worth putting out into the world.

This event was designed to help connect you to new resources to help your ideas grow.

There was a nice size turn-up of talent, a flavorful group with all sorts of talent. I'd like to see everyone posting there main website so we can all stay in the loop of this momentum.

Can I show my art work in flash video instead of powerpoint? Or can I hand out prints of digital artwork?

    May 9, 2013

    • Tina W.

I'm sorry I missed replying to this sooner! Yes you can show a flash video or hand out print instead. Just be prepared to bring your own laptop to connect to the projector or a flashdrive to share the file onto the laptop we will be using to connect to the projector. We do not have a printer on site that you can use, so any handouts you'll want to print off in advance.

Is there a way to show a video? Is there parking?

    June 20, 2013

    • Tina W.

Yes to both questions. Just posted it above. The video you need to be able to load from a computer, so I suggest bringing your laptop to hook up to the projector which will display it on the screen.

Hey Everyone...Please remember the address is 1821 W. Hubbard St Loft 207. If you click on the google mapping of the address, it for some reason shows you 1055 W. Hubbard St instead. IAEOU is always 1821 W. Hubbard St. We want to make sure you don't get lost!
