  • In the Fieldhouse. Come after 9:30 and you'll hear us well before you see us.
  • Come celebrate 32 years of Sacred Harp in Chicago! This all-day singing is one of three major Sacred Harp singing events that occur each year in Chicago. The perfect way to experience a traditional singing for newcomers and old-timers alike. Stop by for some great singing, great food, and great fun. Sunday's All Day Singing often draws over 100 people from Chicago and around the Midwest. Come for the morning and/or afternoon sessions, and be sure not to miss the potluck at noon! Bring a dish to share if you wish, not required.

Along with Sunday's event, there will be a four-hour singing school on Saturday, Jan. 7 designed to help beginners in Sacred Harp to get introduced to the basics and to each other. Workshops are also offered for more advanced singers. Details to follow soon. Attendance at Saturday's workshop is not required before coming to Sunday's singing.

There is not cost to attend, but jars/baskets will be made available to collect free-will donations to cover expenses. Singing will be from the 1991 Denson Sacred Harp.

On-street parking nearby, also accessible by public transportation.
