Details

Join us at the Chicago History Museum for a visit to the current fashion exhibit, featuring thirty garments from designers Chanel, Vionnet, Valentina and more! Learn how the glamour of the screen influenced what real women wore in that era.
We'll meet in the lobby and head to the cafe for a short meeting to get acquainted. You'll get a sneak peek at the rest of this year's activities, designed to help you grow in the sewing and design field, including an exhibit on the intersection of technology and fashion design, a program on insurance needs and options, and a visit to a fabric and trim trade show. We will be drawing for a free entry to the museum for one lucky person at the meeting!
Admission to the museum for the exhibit is $19 for adults, $17 for students and seniors. City residents receive a discount with valid ID, and certain military, teachers and first responders are free; see museum website for details, as well as transit and parking information, www.chicagohistory.org
