What we're about

Chicagoland Tennis Club

Welcome to Chicagoland Tennis Club (CTC) where we try to provide lots of opportunities to play our favorite sport!! You will find us at these indoor facilities: Schaumburg Tennis Plus, Hanover Township, Centegra Health Bridge in Huntley and The Racket Club in Crystal Lake. Our primary outdoor courts are Harper College and Palatine Hills on the weekends, along with New Community Park in South Barrington and many others. We are committed to bringing our members quality tennis opportunities at convenient locations.

For indoor tennis only we ask you to prepay as specified by your host. If you cannot attend an indoor event, it would be helpful if you find a substitute. All players please plan to pay an annual fee of $5.00 which will be used for the Meet up subscription fee.

Each CTC member should be rated a 2.75 or higher ( http://www.matchmakertennis.com/ntrp/ ) and your ranking must be posted on your profile. We will strive to ensure competitive pairings of players that are evenly matched where possible.

We are always open to new ideas for matches, tournaments, hosts and locations. Please let us know how we can continue improving CTC.

While tennis is a lot of fun, it also has risks. Injury can result from: being hit by a ball, collisions between players and falls, just to name a few. By playing in Chicagoland Tennis Club (CTC) events players implicitly assume all risks of injury to themselves at these events. Players waive all liability claims against CTC from any injuries suffered by players at events.

We look forward to seeing you on the courts!

Sincerely,

Svetlana E., Cathi G., Timothy L., Allen R., Dennis S., Harish S.

This event will follow recommendations for Covid 19: **Please read through Covid 19 Phase 4 Tennis Guidelines: https://dceocovid19resources.com/assets/Restore-Illinois/businessguidelines4/tennis.pdf 1. In order to keep all CTC players safe and healthy in spite of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 virus, the following is CTC policy & suggested advice about deciding whether to/or not to/participate at our future tennis Meetups.” 1. If you know you have tested COVID-19 positive and have not been cleared by a subsequent negative test you cannot participate in CTC events until you have newly (most recently) tested negative. 2. If you notice you are having any COVID-19-type symptoms (fever, persistent cough, trouble breathing, noticeable gastrointestinal discomfort, and any other typical symptoms) (with reference to CDC, Centers for Disease Control guidelines) you should definitely not attend any CTC events. 3. If you have, as of a given date, had a COVID-19 test done, but not received results yet, our policy is that you may not participate in CTC tennis events. Once you have a negative test result back, you are re-eligible for events. 4. This policy is to lean as much as possible toward safety and security of our community. Even though it may seem unfair to exclude someone who has been tested but has not had a positive test result, this is preferred to having our community be in limbo as to whether a person waiting on a result may be positive but asymptomatic or negative with the attendant uncertainty about their COVID-19 status. Since we do not have the ability or inclination to actively police players’ individual choices it is incumbent on all players to self abide/enforce all the above rules/policies. Thank you for your commitment to making CTC a safe place to enjoy tennis in this challenging time.
