Little Rosie Chihuahua Celebration of Life Party

Did you know about Rosie?  If not, please visit her site and learn about her life.  As Rosie recently passed, we want to help celebrate her life.  The Everything Rosie page has announced next weekend as the date for little Rosie the Chihuahua's memorial.  Winona (Owner of Chattaway and one of our members) would like to invite everyone to meet at Chattaways in St. Pete from 12 to 4.

Rosie colors are pink and green, and their message is to bring awareness to over breeding, especially inter-breeding.

http://www.everythingrosie.com/

Wear pink and green, take a turn talking about our special needs dogs, and promote adopting them.   I would so love to see Limbo come out and bring some of their adoptables!

They usually have an acoustic guitarist, who should be fine with sharing his mic. If we could get someone to video a bit here and there, we could send a clip to Cinnamon, Rosie's loving mommy.

Limbo Chihuahuas will be bringing some of their special needs pups to meet everyone and hopefully find a home or two.

Let's pull out the blankets we no longer use, good condition please.  Towels, laundry soap, pet pads, doggie shampoos, treats and anything else that you have that you think Limbo can use.  Donate.....All in memory of Rosie!

Sunday Nov. 10th, from 12 to 4!

Thank you,

Winona from Chattaway. 727/320-4787.

I would love to help celebrate dear little Rosie's life and the wonderful Cinnamon who saved her and filled the rest of her life with love, but..... darn old work calls, and I don't have the chance to change my schedule this close to the day. I have read Rosie's story and it is heart breaking. I will wear a pink and green ribbon at work to remember her.

Happy Hump Day everyone. 2 things to add. Chattaway is cash only. Although there is an atm, you may prefer bringing cash. And, the colors pink and green were from a former gathering. So I'm adding the colors black, teal, and pink to the agenda. These are the worldwide memorial colors. Any and all colors are fine though. Looking forward to spreading the word about special needs dogs, and doggies who need homes!

I was wowed by the pictures and story. I am so glad that she was so loved and cared for. You really don't think about what can happen when you are not in it for the pure love. I plan to be late after church, with my beautiful babies.

I will finally get to meet you Megan, and want to invite you to speak on behalf of your rescue, and introduce your special needs dogs. I will reserve an area for you, call me if you have a specific spot preference! Winona

I'm late reading about Rosie's story, but I am really looking forward to this event. I can bring a dog or help you Megan.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the heartbreak that you are feeling. It has been 5 months for one of mine and 7 months of the other beloved baby. You are in my thoughts and my prayers. Rosie is Rainbow Garden awaiting til you are called home as my Tiger and Cookie. Until then "they" have sent me my now Lily to take care of me. Hugs to you and your family on your loss. Linda and Lily.

Hi Linda and Lily, Rosie was not one of our pups but rather a famous dog that recently passed. She was famous because of her story about inter-breeding and her mom wanted everyone to know what bad breeding does. Thank you for the kind words.
