Lynne, Baby and B.

Wesley Chapel, FL
Hometown: Wesley Chapel

Organizer since:

June 2, 2009

What are their ages and types?

We have taken in 7 Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. I try to keep them well socialized for their own benefit. My husband and I take in the ones often not wanted by others. I am a loyal person to them as that is what I get back three fold from them. Their names are Baby, Buttons, Monkey, Fifi, Tia, Little Bit and our newest if Porsche. They range from 3lbs to 18lbs, and range from 6 years to 13+ years.

How did you find us?

To meet other Chi's and their owners. To form lasting bonds for the benefit of our pets. Have fun and help others and to learn from others.

Do you take them to dogparks or have other ways of them to socialize with other dogs? Tell us about them.

I take my pups out for walks, festivals and brunch/lunch/dinner adventures all over town. We no longer visit dog parks in this group due to the virus's and dangers we have seen. Protecting our pups is to priority. There is plenty of places to see and visit outside of the dog parks these days.

I am a firm believer in rescuing. Will never support breeding as we kill way too many dogs each day in this country and only we can stop it. As of 2016, I started this group 7 years ago only to see it grow and great friendships have been made.

What Lynne, Baby and B. is saying about this Meetup Group

The question is why not. When you see how excited the dogs get when they play with one another who does not love that? Great people from all over join up and find so much in common and normally would never cross each other's paths. If you love your dog and want to have safe and fun playtime, then joining is a must. Try it, you might just like it.
